Which Server do I Choose?

So that MX Resources can help you filter your junk mail properly, we need to know the type of mail service that you are currently running.

If you are unsure, please simply select "Unsure" from the menu and we will do our best to help you.

ISP-Hosted POP3/IMAP Email

Most smaller organizations will choose this selection.  If you pay an internet service provider a monthly fee to maintain your email (and often your website as well), and your email is hosted on a remote server along with other ISP customers, then choose this option.

Self-Hosted POP3/IMAP Email

If you are running your own mail server software, such as Sendmail, and no other businesses share that server, choose this option.  Do not choose this if you are running Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes/Domino.

Microsoft Exchange

Choose this if you are running your own Microsoft Exchange server.  Do not choose this if you are paying for another company to provide you with Microsoft Exchange hosted services.

ISP-Hosted Microsoft Exchange

If you are paying a service provider to host Microsoft Exchange for you, choose this option.  If you are running your own Microsoft Exchange server, do not choose this option.

Lotus Notes/Domino

Choose this if you are running your own Lotus Notes or Domino server.

Unsure /  Other

If you are running any other type of email service, or are unsure which selection is right for you, please choose this option and we will contact you for further information.
